I have an iPhone and I love it. But I get frustrated because on an almost daily basis I find calls that have been sent straight to voicemail, even though I was available at the time the call came through.

My carrier, O2 have given me a new SIM card, but that’s made no difference. They’re now suggesting that it’s a fault with the handset itself but I’m not convinced. I think it might be more to do with their network.

So, if you’re an iPhone user on O2, please vote in this quick poll. You can also let me know your experience in the comments.

Thanks!

Tickets for the second Think Visibility Conference, scheduled for 12 September, went on sale yesterday. You’ll have to move quick if you want one, because they sold out in just a few days last time.

If you’re at all interested in making your website work harder for you, attract more visitors and gain better conversions you need to be there.

For me, the standout presentation last time was Tom Smith of everythingability.com (available on YouTube) whose entertaining style and imaginative thinking really wowed the audience. There’s so much bunkum talked about social media, but Tom’s approach was a brilliant combination of sophisticated and simple – stuff that actually achieves something useful for his clients.

Tickets are £99. An absolute steal.

I spent the weekend helping out at the show, organised annually by Business Link, advising new business owners (and those still thinking about it) about getting online and marketing their companies.

Simon (Freestyle Web Solutions) and I spoke with over 100 people of all ages and backgrounds, planning businesses as diverse as roofing to restaurants; artists to audio surveillance.

There are two more Enterprise Shows planned, in Hull (11-12 April) and Sheffield (4-5) May. I’ll be at Sheffield, so pop in and say hello. I’ll be in Zone 4.
